My Opinion of Democracy

    Democracy is a form of collective decision making.Only the adult male citizens who owned land could make the decisions for all of society in the Athens,but I think everyone should be allowed to take part in the decision-making processes in nowadays.

    Although Hierarchical-based system has benefits----the government has the power to control people and can organize the society easily,the only thing people should do is to follow what it says and decides,I still prefer the equality based system.

    In modern days,we still can't participate equally in all of the decision-making,the people who have more money or have political background still have more opportunities.That's not fair!Money and background are important,but they don't mean everything.If people do have money or great background but have no knowledge,they can't make the right decisions.And people in different positions must have different opinions.So I think gather the opinions of everyone is the best form of democracy.
